Carol Brengelman
Co-Director
Carol co-founded Ohio Christian Academy in 2015. She has been married to her husband, Craig, for 25 years. They have three children that have all graduated from Ohio Christian Academy. Andrew (23) graduated from Malone University with a double major in Business and Sport Management. Lydia (21) Graduated from Malone University with a degree in Social Work. She is married, and working for a Christian Foster care agency. Avery (18) Graduated from OCA in 2023, and will earn his associates in Bible/Business from Ohio Christian University in December of 2023. Along with directing, Carol runs the Convention program for grades 3-12.
Stacie Williams
Co-Director
Stacie co-founded Ohio Christian Academy in 2015. She has been in the education field for 30 years this school year. She has been married to her husband Johnny for 20 years. Together they have six children and four grandchildren. Two of her children have graduated from OCA, and one daughter is currently in the first grade. Two of her daughters, Sydney and Caitlyn, are on staff at OCA. Along with directing, Stacie teaches high school math. Stacie is a member of Stratford Heights Church of God.
Stephanie Miller
High School Teacher
Stephanie has taught at OCA since the doors opened in 2015. She is married to her husband Ron, and has three beautiful children that attend the school. Stephanie is a member of Stratford Heights Church, and helps in children's church on Sundays.
Jeff Goble
High School Teacher/ Athletic Director/Volleyball & Basketball coach
Jeff Goble has been a part of OCA since 2017. He is married to his wife Jen, and has a daughter, Lexi who is a 9th grader at the school. Jeff has created an OCA basketball program for boys, and a volleyball program for girls. He loves sharing the Gospel with anyone he comes in contact with.
Shari Strawderman
High School teacher/ Treasurer
Shari has been with OCA since the doors opened in 2015 and is also one of the founders. She is married to her husband Tim, and has a son, Brendan, that graduated from OCA in 2017. Shari enjoys history and Government, and tries to pass her knowledge and love onto the students.
Sydney Williams
Sign Language high school teacher/ Music director
Sydney graduated from OCA in 2020, and after taking some college classes, returned to fill our need as a music director, as well as a piano and sign language teacher. Sydney has a background of over 10 years of lessons in piano, and 5 years of sign language . She has spent much of her grade school and high school years participating in drama and worship band. She has so many talents to share with our students.
Kim Arnold
6th/7th Grade Teacher
Kim is going into her 3rd year at OCA. She worked with students for convention her first year. Both this year and her previous school year she is working as the 6th/7th grade classroom teacher. She and her husband Mark, pastor and lead worship for a local church. Previously, Kim has been a high school teacher and an administrator at a school in Virginia.
Cathy Collins
4th/5th Grade Teacher
Cathy has been with OCA since 2016, teaching kindergarten for several years and most recently teaching at the elementary level. Her husband Skip and she pastor a local church in Franklin, Ohio. They have two sons, one graduated from OCA in 2020 and the other is a senior this year.
Shirley Wurzelbacher
3rd Grade Teacher
Shirley's two youngest children attended OCA when we opened in 2015. She has stayed an active part of the school since, but started officially teaching in 2022. She is a chaplain and loves to pass on her love for God to others. Shirley is a member of Stratford Heights church and teaches the 3-year-olds in the nursery on Sundays.
Heather Hitte
2nd Grade Teacher
Heather has been with OCA since 2017, when her oldest son started in our K4 program. She volunteered for a while, and eventually in 2020, came on staff as a primary teacher. Heather has two boys, and loves to do crafts in her spare time. Her favorite verse is Jeremiah 29:11.
Simone Joseph
1st Grade Teacher
Simone has been with OCA since 2016. She is married to her husband, Joe, and together they have three boys that all attend OCA. Simone teaches our first graders, and is the lead teacher over grades K4-2.
Sherri Noble
Kindergarten Teacher
Sherri has been with OCA since 2019. She and her husband have four children, and five grandchildren. Sherri sings on the praise team at her church, and has been teaching for over 25 years. Sherri loves to tutor young children in reading and phonics.
Jess Long
Kindergarten 4yr old Teacher
Jess has been with OCA since 2021, and came on staff in 2022. Jess and her husband James have five children. They are actively involved in ministry at Solid Rock church.
Natalie Morgan
Kindergarten 4yr old Teacher
Natalie is new to OCA this year. She is a member of Stratford Heights. She and her husband have one baby daughter who is one year old.
Caitlyn Posadny
Middle Grade Teacher's Aide
Caitlyn was with us a few years back, and taught K4. After pursuing other avenues for a while, she returned to us in 2022, and is returning for this upcoming school year. Caitlyn helped our summer school students, and loves to encourage students to reach their full potential.
Mellissa Peyton
Teacher's Aide
Mellissa has been helping our OCA teachers out for the past three years. You will see her in almost every grade level at one point or another. Her daughter, Larissa, attends OCA as an 8th grader.
Chrissie McIntosh
Teacher's Aide
Chrissie has been a part of OCA since her son started in our K4 program 7 years ago. She has spent time teaching in our early elementary grades, as well as helping our younger students with phonics and reading. Chrissie and her husband, Pastor Richard McIntosh, serve Stratford Heights Church of God as the assistant pastor.
